A website that looked great three years ago can still be losing you customers today. Search engines now summarise answers with AI, almost everyone browses on a phone, and visitors expect to book or message you in seconds. Work through these twelve points to find quick wins.
Speed and mobile
- It loads fast on mobile data. Test on your own phone outside of Wi-Fi. Large images and heavy scripts are the usual culprits.
- It is easy to use with one thumb. Buttons are large enough, text is readable without zooming and menus are simple.
- Contact is one tap away. Click-to-call, WhatsApp or LINE and a short form are visible on every page.
Search and AI visibility
- Each service has its own page. Clear headings and helpful content make it easier for search engines, and AI summaries, to understand and recommend you.
- You answer real questions. FAQs, guides and blog articles that answer what customers actually ask are valuable for both search and trust.
- Basic technical SEO is in place. Unique page titles and descriptions, a sitemap, structured data and fast, secure (HTTPS) pages.
Trust and conversion
- You show real work. Case studies, photos of your team and space, client logos and genuine reviews.
- The next step is obvious. Every page ends with a clear call to action: book, enquire, call or visit.
- Forms are short. Ask only for what you need to reply. Every extra field loses people.
Compliance and accessibility
- PDPA is respected. Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act applies when you collect personal data. Explain how you use it, and ask for consent where required, for example for marketing cookies.
- It is accessible. Good colour contrast, readable fonts, alt text on images and a site that works with a keyboard help everyone, including people using assistive technology.
Maintenance
- You can update it yourself. A modern CMS lets your team change text, photos and offers without calling a developer every time.
Getting ready for AI search
More people now get answers from AI assistants and AI summaries at the top of search results. These tools draw on websites that explain things clearly. There is no secret trick, but a few habits help:
- State plainly who you are, what you offer, where you operate and who you serve, near the top of key pages.
- Use descriptive headings and short paragraphs, so each section answers one question.
- Keep facts consistent across your website, Google Business Profile and social pages.
- Add structured data (schema) for your organisation, services, articles and FAQs.
- Publish original, experience-based content, such as real projects and practical guides, rather than generic text.
Quick wins you can do this week
- Compress and resize your largest images.
- Add a WhatsApp or LINE button that is visible on mobile.
- Rewrite your homepage headline so it says exactly what you do and where.
- Remove unnecessary fields from your contact form.
- Check every page title and meta description is unique.
What to do next
If you ticked fewer than nine of the twelve points, your website is probably costing you enquiries. Start with speed, mobile usability and clear calls to action: they usually deliver the fastest improvement. Then build out service pages and helpful content for long-term visibility, and connect your site to your Google Business Profile.
If the list feels like a lot, that is what our website design and development team does every day: fast, mobile-first sites that are easy to update and built to be found. You can see examples in our web design portfolio.

Frequently asked questions
How often should a business website be redesigned?
There is no fixed rule, but many businesses refresh their design every few years and improve content continuously. If your site fails several points above, it is worth reviewing now.
Does a website need a blog?
A blog is one of the best ways to answer customer questions and build search visibility, as long as you publish genuinely helpful content regularly.
How fast should my website load?
As fast as possible on a normal mobile connection. As a practical goal, the main content should appear within about two to three seconds. Google's PageSpeed Insights is a free way to test it.
What is PDPA and does it affect my website?
The PDPA is Thailand's data protection law. If your website collects personal data, such as through contact forms or tracking cookies, it applies. Consult a legal professional for advice on your specific situation.
